When South Africa took on the West Indies in the 5th ODI we were all surprised to see Mark Boucher come onto the field for his 292nd ODI cap, as a fielder, the first time without the keepers gloves.

Boucher fielded all over the park and at one point was down on the boundary at third man, Boucher did well in the field, his throwing in from the boundary needs some work though. Mark Boucher took a brilliant catch at extra cover to dismiss Darren Bravo, this was Mark Boucher’s 400th ODI catch, and the first one without the gloves:

AB de Villiers playing for the Delhi DareDevils pulled off this stunning one handed catch deep in the out field to dismiss one of the Royal Challengers Bangalore batsmen.

Doug Bollinger emulating the antics of this Aussie team mate, David Hussey, managed to keep his head as he took an impressive catch on the boundary, he then had to throw the ball into the air as he fell over the boundary rope, and still managed to recover and complete the catch.

David Hussey pulled off one of the catches in the history of the IPL. Playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders Hussey took an amazing catch to dismiss Delhi Daredevils’ Paul Collingwood for 53 runs.

Fielding on the boundary, Hussey jumps to reach the ball palms it once, twice into the air as he was about to step on the boundary rope, and dive back into the field of play to complete the catch.

David Hussey’s catch will be one of the best catches in the IPL.

New Zealand’s Scott Styris and Australian Mitchell Johnson literally butted heads when they played each other an ODI. Johnson was fined 60% of his match fee and Styris 15%.

This isn’t the first altercation that Mitchell Johnson has been involved in, remember the incident with Sulieman Benn?

The Standard Bank Pro20 game between the Cape Cobras and Eagles last Wednesday evening produced the catch of the series. Reeza Hendricks took this amazing catch to dismiss Andrew Puttick.

The Eagles went on to win the game by 8 wickets, thanks to an unbeaten 85 runs from their captain Morne van Wyk.

Shahid Afridi, really what the hell were you thinking, he took a bite of the cricket ball in the 5th ODI against Australia. Watch the video, it takes a while to get to the interesting part… it’s unbelievable. Afridi received a two match ban for this moment of stupidity, I would have given him two months.

While I was searching YouTube for the video of Sulieman Benn Vs Brad Haddin, I found this video of Mark Boucher giving it to a Zimbabwean batsman. I’m not sure what ‘Tendai’ chirped to get this abuse, but it’s really funny.

Sulieman Benn Vs Brad Haddin (Third Test – Australia V West Indies Day 2)

I honestly can’t believe that Sulieman Benn received a one match suspension for this, it’s ridiculous. Brad Haddin seems to be the instigator as far as I can tell. Mitchell Johnson also played his part is this, I think the ICC got this one wrong, we need some spice and attitude in test cricket.
